What are you Tolerating?
|
If you wish to drown, do not torture yourself with shallow water. ~ Bulgarian Proverb |

FEATURE ~ JANICE TAYLOR: The good majority of us have been carrying around suitcases filled with 'incompletes' and things we are 'tolerating'. |
These are things that irritate us, annoy us, sap our energy, slow us down and basically block us from moving forward. These are things that 'drain' away happiness, success, and self-esteem. These things can range from the dust behind the refrigerator to toxic people in our lives; from a bad hair colour-job to our antiquated and no longer necessary belief systems. 'Tolerations and Incompletes' often manifest a life lived in compromised fashion. You settle because you have some pretty heavy duty belief systems that tell you that you can not change, that things are the way they are - and that's the way they are going to stay, that you can't lose weight, or that if you do lose it, you will gain it back (plus 10 more pounds). You believe that you don't deserve to be happy. All of this weighing you down. You have, in effect, taken twigs and stone, rocks - maybe even fallen trees - and placed them, tossed them, or angrily thrown them in your path. You are now unconsciously maneuvering around them. As you clear out the 'Incompletes and Tolerations', you will be creating a clear path and space for success in weight loss as well as other areas of life. After all, one area does affect the other. This is a holistic event. I promise you that if you take the time to list 50 things that are weighing you down (yes, 50) you will instantly become lighter. A paradigm shift about weight loss. |
