What a feeling! Consider this feeling of expansion and the openness it brings to your heart.
Now just for a moment consider if we could bring that expansive and open feeling to every moment of our day. Would our decisions be made differently? Would we have a sense of joy that bubbles from within us? What if this connectivity would allow our minds and hearts to expand beyond the daily challenges and the contrasts we experience every day.
Abraham through Esther Hicks (a popular channel) calls this living in the vortex. Abraham says that the The Law of Allowing
states that there is a steady stream of pure energy that is ALL THAT IS. We either allow it or we disallow it. When we allow it, we feel pure positive energy. When we disallow it, we feel negative emotion.
As human beings, allowing may be one of the most challenging things to do. We are used to doing and not being. We are used to action. Sometimes it is difficult to know when to step in and help another or even ourself.
Nature teaches us the gift of allowing. A rose opens and blooms in Divine Timing and Divine Order. We cannot force the petals of the rose to open until it is ready or we will destroy the flower. Many of us have also heard the story of the man who tried to help the butterfly to open from the cocoon. Do we sometimes try and force situations and things to happen in the time we believe they should happen? I love this quote: "Never think that God's delays are God's denials. Hold on; hold fast; hold out. Patience is genius." - Comte de Buffon
The word 'allow' is very powerful. Allow implies complete absence of an attempt, or even intent to hinder. This means trust. We can ask which comes first allowing or trust. Or do they work hand in hand?
As we continue to grow spiritually and vibrate at a higher rate, we begin to allow and trust with more ease. We begin to gain more clarity and feel from within that the Universe has our back and our best intentions always. In this knowing, we begin to let go and let God as the saying goes.
Daily practices can assist us to become more at ease with allowing and trust. These include getting more in touch with Nature. Observing the rhythm and flow of the animals, the insects, the ocean and the earth help us see the bigger picture. Meditation and energy practices shift the awareness to our heart center and allow our intuitive gifts to be brought forth. They also allow us to receive the inner guidance to move us to this deep knowing and our purpose here on earth.
So let's take more time to gaze at the stars at night to see the expansive universe that beckons us to know more and to be more. We can bring this awareness of allowing into every experience of our day to bless both our own experiences and each and every life we touch.
Namaste, dear friend!
