Harmony of Dark and Light

Article Pic

S.LYNNE HORTON
Inspired poetry & artwork

Soft whispers on the wind,
Breathing over the foam of the crashing waves.

The sweet aromas of the sea,
Wash up over the soft granules of the sand.

The moistness of the scent,
Soaked up by the thirsty shores.

Night carries the mists,
In the morning dew over the awakening foliage.

As the sun rises over the horizon,
The dew that settles is beckoned from earth to sky.

Night caresses sleeping earth,
Day calls to slumbering to arise in billows in heaven.

Heaven holds dear in rays,
What the night releases in generosity to nourish.
