S.Lynne Horton Inspired Art & Poetry

Twinkles in the eyes,

Laughter in their hearts.

Smiles that speak stories untold,

And bonds that can never be broken.

Hearts that speak and hear words unspoken.

Love that is soft when there is pain,

But hard when one has lost their way.

A hand that holds tight to guide the way,

But knows how to let go when the way is found.

An understanding that sees on the inside,

The things not revealed on the outside.

Together they dance,

Whether it rain or shine,

Underneath the ever changing sky,

On days that are dark,

And nights that are light.

Whether near or far

It is the bond between mother and child.
