Angels Are Demons

Article Pic

S.LYNNE HORTON: Inspired Artwork and Poetry

Did you ever wake from a nightmare just to discover the demon in your dreams was you?

Did you ever contemplate that the shadowy figures you see lurking in the dark are just angels without light?

Have you pondered that what you found in the light, is what you thought was lost in the dark?

Awaken now to the realities of all that exist in harmony within you.

Settle your mind to freely accept all that dwell within your heart.

Within every spirit resides righteous and malevolent.

One cannot escape the other.

Angels are your demons illuminated by light,

Demons are your angels with closed eyes.

Set your mind at ease and see the magic that occurs at dusk or dawn,

That place where the light meets the dark and dark gives way to light,

That time when the sky kisses the earth,

When earth bows to the sky.

Accept into your heart all that is you.

Embrace the two that make you whole,

Understand the harmony in which the two exists is love.
