Many people believe they don't deserve to have abundance. Many people believe that it's not possible for them to have abundance. Some people believe that the good things in life are limited, and so there are not enough of them to go around. Some people even believe that to have abundance is somehow selfish or even unspiritual. All of these ways of thinking tend to keep people from enjoying the abundance which they could otherwise enjoy.
After all, we attract what we focus on. Attention and consciousness are creative forces. So, instead of dwelling on or trying to make a case against the ideas in the above paragraph, it makes sense to just affirm what we know to be true:
You do deserve abundance. It is possible for you to have abundance. There are enough of the good things in life to go around. Having abundance can allow you to be quite selfless and even more spiritual.
People seem to have an especially-hard time accepting money-related abundance into their lives. The thought of wealth and affluence can be quite disturbing to some. But, in modern society, an abundance of money and financial resources is a key factor in being able to have abundance in most every other area of life.
For instance, with enough money you can have more time to spend with your loved ones - abundance in your relationships. And, with enough money you can consume the most health-promoting food and supplements you know of and you can have the guidance and equipment for optimal physical fitness and you can have access to the best medical or alternative health care available - an abundance of health.
You can likely think of many more examples of how an abundance of money and financial resources can lead directly to abundance in nearly all, if not all, areas of life. Abundance is good. And since money can buy abundance, money is good.
People often think that to have a lot of money is to be out of balance. They feel that people who have a lot of money must be neglecting other important areas of their lives. And it's no wonder many people think this way since it is quite often true. So many people of great wealth are obsessed with that wealth, for instance with the ideas of protecting it or of getting more of it, and they do indeed lead very unbalanced lives.
But, "poor" people also quite often lead unbalanced lives. In their desperate attempts to keep up financially, many people of little means are just as obsessed about money as some "rich" people are. Their days can be filled with worry and a constant struggle for survival leaving little energy for anything else. And this imbalance does not only exist among the rich and the poor, but it exists at every economic level in between. In many instances, imbalance occurs more as a product of a person's thinking than it does as a result of how much money one does or does not have.
The more money you have the more abundance you can have in all areas of your life; the more abundance you have in the various areas of your life the more potential you tend to have for balance in those areas. Think about that for a moment. Now, does that mean that the person of little means cannot lead a balanced life? No, it doesn't mean that at all. Still, the average person will likely find it easier to have overall balance on a healthy budget than on a slim budget.
It's up to you to decide where you want to be on the economic ladder. If you like, you can have great wealth and abundance which will not only enrich your life but will, if handled properly, enrich the lives of countless others. There are certain universal laws and metaphysical techniques which will allow you to have all of the money you want and need, and all of the abundance you can imagine and believe possible.
Abundance is good. Embrace it. It is your birthright to have the abundance you desire; it is your responsibility to handle that abundance in a balanced way. To have both adequate material wealth and suitable conditions in all other areas of one's life as well is what balanced abundance is all about. Balanced abundance is attainable. And balanced abundance is not only attainable, but it's attainable by you.
