Why Money?
Mind over Money Part 2
|
|
JAMES GOI JR:
Your desire for more money will be the driving force that moves you and the universe to action, but your desire must rest upon a strong foundation if it is to continue to sustain you and carry you forward.
|
Money is coins, paper currency and entries on a balance sheet. It's numbers on a bank statement and on a computer screen. It's not much of anything
until it's turned into something
.
So, what does money represent to you? Does it represent security? Does it represent freedom? What would you do if you had all of the money you want? Some people would start businesses, go back to school or travel. Some would buy houses. Some would buy cars, boats or planes. Some would pay for their children's educations. Some would help people and organizations they care about.
In order to build up an intense desire for more money, you must have some very compelling reasons
for wanting the money. Many people obsess over how they will get more money, but what you want to know right now is why
you want more money. If you will answer that question, the question of 'how' will be answered in due time.
