Flow ~ the Ultimate of Persistence

Article Pic

JEFFREY EISEN: Water is so very persistent and yet it does so by allowing itself to simply flow.

Persistent does not necessarily mean you have to push hard all the time, but simply keep on going despite what gets in your way. Often the route to get to where we are going may take many detours, but like water the key is to keep flowing and that requires persistence.

Article Pic Biography
Jeffrey Eisen spent the first part of his life living up to the expectations of others. Though he spent 33 years 'successfully' growing and developing the family business he believes that he missed out on family and life experiences as a result. His upbringing taught him that success meant working hard, making money and saving money. He pushed himself to work harder, earn more and live up to everyone else's expectations - never stopping to understand who he truly was or what made him happy.

All of this changed a few years ago and after overcoming an illness when he realized that something major was missing from his life. He had a profitable business and wonderful family yet he wasn't truly happy. He felt discontent but didn't know why.
After working with many different life coaches, reading self-development books, attending an extensive number of workshops and seminars his perspectives and beliefs began to shift.

Throughout his journey he discovered his own intense desire to help others and realized that his own experiences had given him all the tools he needed to be a life coach. He wanted to share his growth and development and allow others the sacred space to challenge their beliefs and change their lives. In helping others he has found true happiness and has learned what it means to really live - every single moment of his life. awakeningtheself.com
