Before you get all caught up in the holiday hustle and bustle take a few moments to begin the process of reflection, closure and set the wheels of manifestation in motion for the upcoming year.
During the past eleven months many have experienced various energy shifts especially around the full moons. With these shifts came the feeling of restlessness, a feeling that something new must be learned, inner peace to be gained and connection with one another and God be obtained. On a worldwide level we have seen more openness to holistic wellness, awareness in Mind-Body-Spirit health and people earnestly searching for Spirituality especially in our western hemisphere. The next two years will no doubt bring more shifts, ebbs and flows of Universal energy and being aware of this will assist us in being prepared for the ride.
Our attitude not only attributes to our own life but to that of the people, community and ultimately the world around us. Whatever energy we put out, whether it is positive or negative will attract the same back into our life, as well as leave a type of energy footprint wherever we go. The more we focus on positive change not only in our own life but for the earth, we are assisting healing and manifestation on a universal level.
There is constantly a flow of positive and negative energies throughout the universe needed to create balance, cleansing and rebirth. However, we have to remember our planet, ask for healing and strength to for her to withstand anything comes her way so that as a people we will over come the adversity that may follow.
This is not to say that we should worry about the future and fate of mankind by taking on this burden of the whole world's survival, but it does mean that we be mindful of our input into this energy pot and realize how powerful a fuel our thoughts and feelings are.
Exercise
Start by taking a moment to look back objectively over the last ten months and see just what has happened since you made your resolutions back in January. The New Year was when you set your thoughts on what you wanted to manifest throughout the upcoming year. As spring approached, you knew it was time to plant your seeds of desire in order for your thoughts to become reality. Throughout the summer you watched your garden grow, weeding where needed, replanting if necessary. Autumn brought your harvest time, reaping what you sowed. You are now entering the season of winter, a time to reflect, review and rest.
[bi How was your harvest? Did you tend your garden well? Look closely; you may have manifested more than you first thought!Go back month by month as objectively as you can and see if you can find at least one area of your life where synchronicities were at play bringing you to where you are at this moment.
Now, we know we cannot go back and change the past but we can reflect and learn from it. Are there areas that need to be changed, new paths taken or old ones revisited?
Do we feel 'stuck' in a certain situation? Sometimes in order to get out of an uncomfortable place a unique move is needed, not always the obvious - or sometimes it is the obvious but we are too busy looking everywhere but right in front of us for the answer!]
Take your time doing the above exercise, writing down what comes to mind immediately then perhaps meditating on it and seeing what comes forward from your subconscious mind. You may be surprised at how much you have manifested and connections you have made that will lead you on your next adventure. Remember to examine all levels - physical, emotional and spiritual - and see how one has helped you in another area of your life.
You deserve to take this time for reflection. Next, we will be looking at finding 'closure' in order to move forward. Never underestimate what you are capable of. In the words of St. Francis of Assisi, "Start by doing what is necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible."
