The Divine Law of Gender

Article Pic

VICKY ANDERSON: In the language of ancient Hebrew, the word woman is translated as two pictures that signify 'mighty' and 'warrior'. The pioneer women of the Americas were warriors - they were women of relentless determination, whose tenacity helped them to conquer poverty and loneliness.

Their work was the work of survival. They lived a tough life that demanded as much from them as it demanded from the men they wed.

One hundred and sixty years ago, women helped to forge this frontier. They weren't something to be painted, pierced, tattooed and patted on their fannies, and then sent out into the world as an ornament or trophy.
Dr. Craig Lampe, PhD

The first issue of Playboy magazine was published in the 1950's. The women of the 60's and 70's attempted to end this type of sexism by taking a stand on the issue during the Women's Liberation Movement. Recently, DOVE soap has started a global effort to help women all over the world free themselves from these stereotypes.

At the time of this writing, DOVE's Campaign for Real Beauty and Self-Esteem was focusing on how teenage girls are constantly being bombarded with unrealistic, unattainable messages and images of beauty and sexuality, which severely impact their self-esteem. Their advertising is using thought-provoking ads to target society's small-mindedness.

DOVE is currently working with the entertainment industry to offer self-esteem workshops for mothers and daughters. They have released a film, titled Onslaught, which dramatizes the barrage of sexual stereotypical images that girls face today. The goal of their campaign is to truly make a difference in the lives of at least five million girls.

Because man hasn't accepted his own Divinity, he cannot see that same Divinity in woman. This creates a discontentment in her soul and she wonders if she will ever be loved in the way that is her birthright.
Peter Archer

The Divine Law of Gender states that gender is in everything; everything has its masculine and feminine principles; gender manifests on all planes. Man needs to realize that he, too, has felt a discontentment while living many, many lives as women. And, in his current life, he will feel it again as he watches his daughters grow. In this age, women will need to take back their sexuality and exchange it for their rightful positions as mighty warriors in this world.

And the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two ... but One.
Mark 10:8

Vicky Anderson is a Canadian author, researcher and historian. She has an extensive background in education and has written 10 books about the history of the West Coast.

Her latest book, The Awakening: A Conscious Shift to a Higher Realm, has nothing to do with the history of the West Coast, however, and everything to do with her own spiritual journey and the history of mankind. Her journey to find balance within herself has been one of suspense and enlightenment. It carries a message of wisdom for everyone.

Vicky also maintains a spiritual website where she answers the following questions:
"Who are we?" "Why are we here?" "Where are we going?" "How do we get there?" hiddenlighthouse.wordpress.com
